Elfen Lied Episode 3 Review

The episode starts with a childish misunderstanding that’s pretty stupid. Apparently the female lead character expects the main character to remember the dumb promise they made when they were kids. Sure it’s a promise but it’s annoying to see it touched upon when the character really shouldn’t remember it either. So she therefore leaves the main character on his own.

Nyu then helps the male character with his cold, or at least she tries, at least she’s able to bring the female lead back into the house to help the main character.

So we then get this obnoxious exposition dump mixed into a very dodgy sounding operation, it was useful to learn but it didn’t make any sense to convince the character to get a castration for no reason.

The girl who saw the fight from the previous episode comes in to the house to explain things to the main character. Meanwhile Nyu attacks the main character but can’t.

Some more stuff happens and then the girl with magic powers comes back to tell Nyu that she has to go back, she looks like she doesn’t want to.

So this episode was interesting but not that great, there’s lots that I don’t like but it ends up being so inconsequential that I don’t care about it much. It hasn’t particularly grabbed me so far so there might not any episode reviews for this series in the future.

Thank you for reading this post from JEARETTAS Day 15! If you have any episode suggestions for me to review (and the date is 20th July or earlier) then please comment bellow!
