Skirt No Naka wa Kedamono Deshita Episode 1 Review

I have to say that I’m very surprised at the direction that this anime went in. I’m going to spoil the huge plot twist (Also this post is 18+ due to language so don’t say I didn’t warn you) so watch the episode if you don’t want to be spoiled. At the start I saw that Ryou had a very strange voice and I thought that he was a male. Due to this I felt kind of sad that I’d never see the other female main character as a woman. I thought that I was going to have to watch the series with the secret idea that Ryou was a trap. But he actually was!

The only exciting thing about this is that I called it before it already happened. Anyway Ryou rapes the main character girl and then the episode ends with the female character not really caring about it, which is very concerning and also something that could only happen in anime.

No matter how you look at, it it’s clear that this anime is going nowhere.  With four minute episode lengths with mostly fan service I don’t see this being very enjoyable unless you want to waste your time and enjoy fan service. More characters might be introduced so that fan service scenes can happen with different females to attract a more broad audience with different tastes in women but nothing else really.

If I end up hearing that this show turned out good and had a good story/ ending I might be persuaded to pick the series back up but right now I’m going to ignore it.
