I Am Now Mysterious; I’ve got an award to prove it! YEAH!

Lina (Featured image) has nominated my for the mysterious blogger award! Thank you Lina this is very kind!

  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
  5. Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
  6. You have to nominate 10 – 20 people
  7. Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog
  8. Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question (specify)
  9. Share a link to your best post(s)

The creator is Okoto Engima

My version of this game is a lot more battered / well loved than this one.

Three things about myself alright: The first thing is that I’m a very secretive person, that’s it really.

Ok two more, my favourite card game is happy families, specifically the free frozen version from Morrison’s because I’ve played it a lot with friends. It’s funny because I’ve never seen frozen and don’t know who anyone is, I’m never going to watch it now because I think it might ruin my experience of the card game! Needless to say friends reactions have been mixed.

The final thing is that in 2017 I wrote over 200,000 words for my blog, isn’t that a hell of a lot? A novel is normally about 50,000 words so technically I wrote four books last year!

You must now read the rest of the post as if I’m this cat fish!
  1. If you were a fish, what type of fish would you be and why?

I would be a catfish so I can troll people online

  1. One day you find a rift in the space/time continuum. You choose to pass through it. Where do you end up?

I end up in a future civilisation which may or may not be alien where they have achieved the singularity and I can become immortal.

  1. Would you rather be the chicken or the egg? Why?

I would rather be the egg because it’s proven that the egg came first! Also an egg can become a chicken later so you get to view what it’s like to be both!

  1. When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you do?

I specifically wake up earlier than everyone else because everyone else is asleep and stays up way too late for me. I also have very thin walls in my house and people can hear pretty much everything you do, I must also mention they stay awake a lot longer than I do. Now I will leave you to fill in the blanks.

  1. If you were to imagine the most beautiful world you can, where everybody is happy and healthy… What would your horror world look like?

My dream world is a place where everyone has their needs and money fulfilled and robots do all the work but education is still needed so we’re not stupid. As well as this everyone would be pursuing creative ambitions such as blogging instead of working. So I suppose my horror world would be a pitch black place with millions of people constantly shouting abuse at me with none of the things I mentioned above.

Now it’s time to nominate some people and I’ve just got ten! These people all have really interesting blogs you should check out as well as this they are very mysterious! If you have already been nominated then please just answer in the comments!

Also 10 mystery bloggers, could you call them the mysterious bloggers X? Please understand the reference.

My questions are

  1. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you identify as “one of the boys!”?
  2. What’s the most embarrassing thing a friend of yours has ever done? Nobody seemed to want to say what embarrassing thing they did last time.
  3. If you could change one event in history what would it be?
  4. The Queen of England is coming to your house for dinner next week. What do you do?
  5. What thing do you find most annoying about technology?

Oh and here are the best posts I’ve ever written for:
Theory: The Sakamoto Death Theory and Why It’s Wrong

Review: Tsurezure Children is a Great High school Rom-com

Analysis: Anime harem series (part one was my first ever blog post)

Gaming: Kings Quest Remake 9 Part Analysis

Thank you for the award Lina and I hope you guys will enjoy answering the questions even if you’ve already got the award.

  1. Yay! Thank you so much! This is a cool one. I’ll see if i can get answer all of these a week from this Friday. I have a few posts planned between that.

Ah, the Sakamoto theory. First post of yours i read and some great inspiration for my own theory post. Definitely one of your best.

    1. No problem, you deserve it!

Thank you, the Sakamoto post is something I’m very proud of and I’m glad it’s gone small blogger semi-viral! I remember reading your theory post and thinking it was pretty funny, I didn’t really know you then so I felt kind of bad for criticizing it a little,

  2. Great post! Excellent answers! Since I have a very naughty mind I can perfectly well imagine what you are doing when you are all up by yourself early in the morning. 😎😇 And you absolutely deserve the award!!

    1. Please don’t “imagine” that’s one of the things I really don’t want you to do!

Thank you for the praise but what you didn’t realise was that I tagged you again in this post because I wanted to see your answers in the comments! I know it’s weird but I just kind of wanted to know. Also expecting you to make another post is very stupid since you got the award anyway, I just want to know your answers to the questions please!

      1. I just filled in the blanks, just as you told me (us) to do. So, you started it. 😉

Of course I can answer the questions. I didn’t even realise you had tagged me. :blushing:

        1. If I was a fish I would be a pike. Then I could lurk in the shadows, hide in the reed and then attack when no one suspected it at all.

        2. Oh, this is an interesting one. I would go back to the days of when Jesus supposedly lived. I am pretty sure he did live. As a wild and free hippie with his boys, being drunk on wine and high on whatever drugs you can get your hands on then. I don’t think he really healed anyone but he probably made his own disgusting wine. So, I would party with Jesus.

        3. The chicken. Chickens are either cute and fluffy or elegant and beautiful. I’d like to be either. Or both. Being an egg seems awfully boring and the chance of ever getting to become a chicken is slim. Most eggs never get fertilized. And if they do they get abandoned by the hen.

        4. If I wake up and it still is morning (I love to sleep long if I can) I most likely bury myself under my sheets and think about how to best get back to sleep. Then I curse myself for leaving the window open and think about how cold the floor is beneath my bed. (the window is just beside my bed)

        5. My horror world yeah; this is an interesting question. Open spaces, bright lights, no people. Imagine a huge, empty plaza completely abandoned, completely odorless, lit up with a million 1000 watt spotlights. And when you leave that place you enter a dark, almost black, narrow pathway, surrounded by black brick walls. In the walls there are small windows and behind the glass in those windows there are small, dirty, naked children staring at you. They are screaming but no sound are coming from them. It is quiet, not a sound is heard anywhere, not even your own footsteps. There is a burned out forrest, still glowing, coal burning you, setting you on fire.

So, there you have my answers. 🙂

        1. Wow those are some really funny answers! I like all of them! I can relate to that sleeping thing and the horror world sounds terrifying! If you’re new facts about the chicken are correct I might also need to change my answer.

I’m afraid you’ve misunderstood me, though rather quite humorously. It’s great that you answered you own questions but I was also interested to find out the answers to mine!

And well done for filling in the blanks, I find it funny how this feels like a weird secret that only we understand even though it’s kind of easy to guess!

          1. Yeah, I was pondering about which questions to answer and to be honest, I sort of wanted to answer my own. 😆 But I intend to answer yours as well actually. I had that in mind and I am honestly gonna admit that I started out with them when I started to think about this whole his or mine stuff and then my brain took a detour and I ended up with my own and this is probably all because of my three hours of sleep tonight. I’ll get back to yours soon, I’m just gonna watch another episode of NGE first. 8)

            1. Oh wow nice! Yeah don’t worry about it too much, you’re answers were great anyway! And good luck sleeping, I may have some advice for you. Go to sleep and wake up at around the same time every day (obviously you can have cheat days if you want) and you’re body will just be used to falling asleep at that exact time and you sleep better. That’s what I’ve found anyway. Some people use white noise but I’m not sure how much it helps.

              1. Hey, I am gonna answer! My sleeping pattern is completely fucked up because of my bipolarity. When I am high I sleep like 3 hours a night and when I’m low I can sleep 15. I have tried almost everything. White noise is annoying. I am extremely sensitive to sounds at times. I think that for it to work you’ll have to be able to use it every day. I can’t do that. Sadly. Ugh, I am used but tonight it was a bit hard to fall asleep at 5 am and wake up at 8. Not really the ultimate time to sleep either. Ah well, at least I am tired enough to fall asleep earlier tonight. That’s a plus. 😀

                1. Oh sorry I should have realised and thought of that. That sounds really bad though, wish I could help but I’m not too sure.

I had a friend who would literally cry if he couldn’t get to sleep within half an hour and needed eye drops. The only thing I can say is something you probably do already, which is to try not to worry about not going to sleep. Do you ever get really angry while trying to go to sleep? I sometimes get that and it makes going to sleep hell, I just need to try and calm down though and it will be easier.

                  1. Don’t apologize. There’s no need for that. How could you know. Not all bippos are like me with their sleep. Some sleep well too. 🙂

I used to stress about sleep yes but I have given up about it. There is no use in getting angry or annoyed when I can’t sleep. I know that it will slow down the process instead. So, I just read or play some game instead. Surprisingly enough playing games like Candy Crush makes my brain relax so I usually finish my evening with that when I feel that I might be ready to sleep. It sounds hard to start to cry if you can’t sleep. Poor boy.

                    1. Yeah, I found that too.

It wasn’t as bad for my friend because he used eye drops – it just sucked every time he didn’t. I do feel sorry for him anyway though. I don’t like putting things into my eyes!

              2. And here comes the right answers then. *blushing* (because I admit that I feel a tad stupid about the other but hey, I had fun answering my own shit. Hehe)

                1. Zero? I don’t know what it’s like to be one of the boys. I am sort of like one of no one. Girls come in pairs.

                2. One of my friends? Wow! Uhm? I am usually the one who is embarrassing. I think it might have been that one time we took the ferry to Germany to buy booze and beer (that’s common here because it is cheaper) and two of the boys in our company sat down in the cafe at the boat and drank beer. They got more and more drunk for each beer and that’s not really strange. Not until one of the girls went up to them and looked at one of the bottles and started to laugh. She laughed so hard she cried and then she shouted for the whole boat to hear: How the hell can you be drunk on alcohol free beer!! Let’s just say they got sober pretty quickly. That’s kind of embarrassing.

                3. One event? Hm? Shit, this is hard. I don’t believe in changing history really because it has such a huge effect on the rest of what’s gonna happen. But if I must chose something I would say that I would make sure the war in Iraq never happened (or maybe rather that USA left Iraq in 2003 when the war was actually over). Because if that never happened the chances are ISIS would never have gotten as big as they are today.

                4. Haha, the queen. She is such an awesome lady. I would probably cook some local food for her like wild boar and then I would sit her down in our sofa and show her some pictures of when I was on vacation. I would probably ask her a thousand questions about what it is like to have lived as long as she has and if it really is fun to rule Brittania. Then we should most definitely listen to Sex Pistols and play drinking games.

                5. Technology… that everyone is so connected. And everyone assume that you are too. Yes, I own a smart phone. No, that doesn’t mean that I will always answer your call or your text. Hell, I don’t even have that damn thing with me all the time. Also, people have lost the connection to the real world. People walk around with the phone in their hand, staring at the screen, not taking notice of the world around them.

See, I told you I would answer your questions. 😉

                Liked by 1 person

                1. 0/10 for one of the boys that kind of makes sense all things considered.

Non-alcoholic beer eh? That is brilliant. I never realised the placebo effect could be that strong!

Changing any event that could prevent ISIS is a brilliant idea. I personally would change the Treaty of Versailles to make the 1st world war end well with better terms to hopefully prevent WW2.

You consider “wild boar” local food? That’s amazing! Playing drinking games with the queen sounds so crazy as well,

I keep my phone on silent and people get annoyed that I don’t look at it enough! I know exactly what you mean. It sounds like you also want to prevent the world of Serial Exprements Lain (a confusing arthouse show about being connected with technology) which is pretty scary at times!

                  Thank you for answering!

                  1. You’re welcome! It was fun and interesting questions to answer.

I don’t lie when I say we are infested with wild boars here. They are destroying the fields for the farmers and even comes into the gardens and destroys the lawn. So yeah, our hunters hunt them willingly and we make sausages out of them. And other stuff. I’d say it’s a very local thing to eat if you want to eat something special from my area.

The Versailles Treaty is a good thing to change too. Nice choice. It was a hard question though. It’s gonna be interesting to see what others answer to that.

I have been watching so much Black Mirror technology actually scares me a bit. It’s a good thing but also a bad thing. A double edged sword. There is no going back.

                    Liked by 1 person

                    1. That wild boar thing is crazy, do they appear during the day and attack people? Or are they quite cowardly?

Yeah I know what you mean about technology being a double edged sword. While it solves a lot of problems it creates a lot as well. For example the increase in social media has probably led to a higher amount of jealousy in the world, resulting in a higher amount of depression and e.c.t . I don’t know if that’s even a good example though; I can understand the peasants of the past working all day in the fields having a higher depression rate than the world currently has.

                    2. They keep to their own but if you happen upon them they are pretty aggressive, especially the females when they have piglets. But wild boars can be really dangerous and if you are out in the woods it’s wise to make some noise to warn them that you are coming because then they leave.

I’m thinking that all the social media put pressure on people to be successful and show themselves more. One should have everything; a beautiful home, cute kids, an expensive car, a sexy husband and so on. To live up to the dream and brag about it. And if you can’t that’s when you feel bad. It’s toxic. Especially young kids, teenagers, are under a lot of pressure as it is and then be subjected to social media too where everything is measured in how you look and what you’ve got. Before internet was a thing people lived in oblivion as to what everyone else had and what you were supposed to have. It was easier. Now there is some sort of demand on how you are supposed to be. Idk, I think it’s sad. And it worries me. People are more depressed than ever. More kids kill themselves than ever. 12 year olds aren’t supposed to kill themselves. 12 year olds are supposed to be outside and play with their friends.

                    3. Sorry I must have missed this one! That sounds about right, animals should be made to fear us! I went to a place with wild bears (I didn’t’ see any) but they said a lot of the same stuff you did. It said to clap, shout and if nothing else works: fight for all your might. Very reassuring thing to put on a leaflet!

I couldn’t agree more, people have become too depressed about living up to their expectations and it’s really sad. You also see this trend expressed by mass shooters. It often comes from a place of anger and complete depression that drives them to do such crazy things – I don’t condone their actions though. The idea of little children committing suicide is so sad, definitely one of the worst (if not the worst) consequences of the internet. I’m sure it happens occasionally before it’s existence but not nearly as bad as today.
