Libester Award Post – What even is a libester?

Thank you Zainou for nominating me for the Libester award, I’m really grateful to receive it from a really great blogger! Zainou is currently completing the 30 days of anime challenge so it’s a great chance to check him out!

  • Ask them 11 questions!

The Questions:

If you could change/ make one law what would it be?

The one law I would change is the law of physics: energy can’t be created. If we could create our own energy from nothing then lots of things, technology especially would be a lot better.

If you could eat one thing forever and never get sick of it, what would it be?

If I were to just say pizza there are so many different kinds that I couldn’t get bored of it since it would change so much!

If you could live a life of immortality would you?

Yeah, why not? I would never need to worry about 100% completing breath of the wild and juggling everything else because I know that I literally have time for everything. Once the earth ends and has an apocalypse I guess I’ll enjoy colonising mars or swimming through space in search of other civilisations. You don’t lose momentum in space so if you could survive (which I could) I would be able to travel extremely fast to new planets which would be pretty cool. This is greatly underestimating the size of space but being immortal would encourage me to keep the human race going.

If you had 1 billion dollars (or whatever your currency is) what would you do?

I would buy a wii u and all the other video games I wanted and then just save it. I would probably quit my job, use if to pay tuition fees and then go straight to early retirement without ever working, living a very small and repressed lifestyle so I would never have to run out. I also wouldn’t tell anyone and just say that I’m working from home online with my own business which is how I’m paying for myself to live.

This would give me to work on my own projects, work on my writing and program things.

If you could bring one character from a fictional work into real life who would it be?

Kintaro from golden boy because his stories are so good, I really want to read the manga but someone put the chapters stupidly out of order so it’s impossible to read which makes things difficult. I just think he’s a great character really and I liked the anime.

If you could have dinner, or a coffee, or whatever with any real person (a director, and author, an actor etc.) who would it be?

Maybe George R Martin because I want to know more about the GOT books.

If you had infinite resources to fund someone to make a piece of media for you (movie, anime, tv series, video game etc.) what would that project be?

If I had infinite resources I would be able to make a piece of media infantry. I would probably want a fantasy anime of the book I’m writing, which would then continue to go into every story arc that I could come up with once the book ends never stopping so there would always be a way for me to see the visuals of my story.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever written?

People seem to tell me it’s my Sakamoto post but I feel like my end of evangelion post is probably better.

If you could have one skill you don’t currently have, what would it be?

It would probably be talking and having much better charisma. I’m not terrible at speaking but I’ve always wanted to be better at talking and always saying things in interesting ways. I remember a Dick Masterson quote which is something like “If you say anything with the right words, in the right tone, with the right cadence you can get whatever you want.” (from people) so having it would be very good and probably abused by me!

What’s something you could watch endlessly and never get bored of?

I don’t think such a thing exists but HxH is my favourite long running show which means I’m least likely to get bored of it. HxH also has a lot of depth which I would enjoy reading into.

Who’s your favourite director (anime or film)?

I’ve never really paid attention to this so I’m going to look now who directed my favourite shows! I’d say my favourite director would be Yuzo Sato because he’s the most iconic having directed the strategic masterpieces of Kaiji and One outs as well as Akagi which is less good in my opinion. He enjoys the strategy and often uses my favourite art styles so I guess he’s my favourite director now!

Thank you for reading, here are my questions. I want to steal some from Zainou because some of them were so interesting!

  1. If you could live a life of immortality would you?
  2. If you had 1 billion dollars (or whatever your currency is) what would you do?
  3. If you had infinite resources to fund someone to make a piece of media for you (movie, anime, tv series, video game etc.) what would that project be?
  4. If you could have one skill you don’t currently have, what would it be?
  5. What video games do you like?
  6. You see a hot boy/girl (depending on your sexual orientation) at a place of your choosing, how do you approach him/her?
  7. How do you watch anime? I’m interested to see if you binge watch, watch every so often and what websites and hardware you watch it on.
  8. How do you get over it when you feel sad? What do you do?
  9. What kind of person annoys you the most?
  10. Are there any non-scientific/ more spiritual things you believe in e.g crystals or things like that?
  11. What have you always wanted to be able to do but aren’t able to do?

I’m experimenting with different things for nominations, last time I nominated my most recent followers but I don’t think it went so well. This time I’m going to get my nominations from the pool of people who likes my posts. I always mean to check out the people who like what I write but I’ve never got round to it – giving people who like a post to make based on what I’m asking would be a really great way for me to check them out! So here are the nominations!
I have a lot of people who liked my last awards post but Zainou nominated enough people to take the total down to less than 11, regardless I’ll put them up and then the ones from the most recent post!

    1. Thank you! He’s written great books that’s not just game of thrones (actually freely available online if you find the google doc) so I completely agree,

  1. Ooh congratulations on your award! Also… THAT PHYSICS ENERGY THING WOULD BE SO COOL!!! And I’m like 99% that it’s impossible to get sick of pizza so that’s a good choice! Thanks for the nomination too ^_^

          1. I mentioned that i was going to try to keep in a schedule, but I didn’t make a big point of it. I’d be posting far less i Think, If I didn’t follow it.

Im sure i would have noticed your schedule if i read everything on time, as it is I’ve been sporadically reading posts when i have some free moments.

            1. Yeah that makes sense actually! I doubt anyone spends their evenings waiting for 7pm to turn round for the next MBICE post on the days I upload!

Keeping a schedule is good and it’s the main reason why I’ve kept up with blogging! If I ever want to do anything it’s like I need to make a big deal and a project out of doing it!
