Instead of drawing something new I thought that it would be interesting to see how much I could change a previously drawn image with colored pencils and pens. So I’ve made edits to some and thought I’d present it in a before and after format.

Well would you look at that! The outlines are sharper and the shadow is way better! But then I thought it might be fun to rub off all the pencil to see what it’s like with just the pen…
This is what happens when you use a rubber, you eventually break the page and make it crease it really sucks. I also saw that I forgot to draw the tie…
So there it is!

I unfortunately didn’t take a picture in between colored pencil and pen so here’s it all! I like it a lot better now!

I did not use pen here but I like how much darker the hair is and nicer the edges are. This is with colored pencils but still looks improved in my opinion because I like bold outlines.

So in conclusion: minor changes and additions can really help a lot!
